John Godfrey, Chairman of the Commission, is a specialist in gambling regulation. He was re-appointed as Chairman for a third term of office in May 2009. He was consulting accountant to the Gaming Board for Great Britain for almost 30 years and an adviser to the Government of The Bahamas. For much of this period of time, John was also an expert witness for the Metropolitan Police.
