AGCC Announces Leadership Transition

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) announces that Andrew Gellatly has decided to step down from his role as Executive Director.

Andrew has made a valued contribution to the AGCC during his time with the organisation, supporting the Commission's work in maintaining Alderney's reputation as a respected and well-regulated eGambling jurisdiction. The Commissioners would like to express their sincere thanks to Andrew for his dedication, professionalism and commitment, and wish him every success in his future endeavours.

To ensure continuity of leadership, Gemma Fletcher has been appointed as Executive Director with immediate effect, supported by the AGCC's senior leadership team. Gemma has served the Commission for ten years as the AGCC’s supervisory leader with a strong financial background within the gambling sector. The Commissioners are confident that these arrangements will provide stability and support the continued delivery of the Commission's strategic and regulatory objectives.

The AGCC remains firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulation and governance while continuing to support a well-regulated, sustainable and internationally respected eGambling sector in Alderney.
