The AGCC announces the appointment of Mr Christopher Blythe OBE as Commissioner.

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Blythe OBE as Commissioner.  Christopher has an extensive background in the regulation of professional qualifications in the construction industry as Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Building.   Whilst there,  he led the sector in the combatting of labour abuse and modern slavery, ad was awarded an OBE for services to the construction industry and government. Prior to this, Christopher held the role of Chief Executive of the Training and Enterprise Council in Cheshire and has an extensive career in the interface of the public and private sector. 

He is a CIMA qualified accountant and brings to the Commission a deep understanding of business operating models, which aligns well with our obligations as an AML/CFT/CPF supervisor.
